Athletes are known to cut some pretty crazy deals with their loved ones, but this one makes Andrei Kirilenko‘s cheating agreement with his wife look like nothing!!
New Los Angeles Clippers sharpshooter J.J. Redick dated Vanessa Lopez back in 2007, and apparently it wasn’t a relationship built on trust, because he had an entire legal document drawn up about how to deal with her impending abortion!
That’s right, as soon as he found out his lady friend was preggers, he decided to go the legal route to try an protect his azz in one of the most bizarre ways possible!
The contract says that once Vanessa goes through with her abortion, she must provide medical records as proof that she went through with it.
It also says the two would try to maintain a relationship for at least a year after. If J.J. broke things off, Vanessa would get $25,000! However, if she ended it, she would get nothing!
With all of the baby mama drama athletes seem to go through, we guess it makes sense that he would want to make sure it doesn’t happen to him. But we still think this is just plain weird!
