Uh oh, Britney Spears‘ relationship with her kids is on the rocks again!
Over the last year, the pop star has really made great strides in reconnecting with her sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19. They really showed up to support her during her low point after her DUI arrest. But now, things are growing icy again!
The boys both stepped out for runway debuts at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month, walking for Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 collection. It was a huge moment for the siblings, who had previously stayed largely out of the spotlight. Unfortunately, it has been clouded with disappointment after their mother failed to show her support!

A source told Radar Online on Thursday:
“They considered her no-show a huge kick in the teeth.”
Oof.
Worse, insiders claimed Britney’s excuse for missing was that she has a fear of airplanes — which didn’t make sense to her sons, who have seen her jet all around the world. So, the fact that she chose now to stay in LA really hurt their feelings:
“They made it clear to her beforehand — numerous times — it would have meant the world to them if she’d been there to cheer them on.”
Given Brit Brit’s complicated history with the media, we can understand why she may not have wanted to turn up to the show in person. But it’s a bummer the boys felt so let down! Especially after all they’ve done to support her lately.
Another source said it was her sons who begged Britney to get help after her DUI trouble, noting:
“They’re the only ones she listens to.”
But now that she’s not showing up for them — and as she continues teasing baby plans on Instagram — the boys are starting to pull back:
“To them, it seems like she’s intent on starting over as a parent and seeing them when it’s easy for her. … They’re furious after the efforts they’ve made for her. So, they’ve built the wall they had to keep their mom out — and she’s only got herself to blame.”
So sad!
