Kristen Bell's HEALTHY Outlook On Losing Baby Weight!

We worry for moms who are either pressured into losing all the baby weight right away, or those who just plain think they have to to feel better about themselves! You just had a baby, it’s OKAY to relax!!

Luckily, we feel like more and more celebrity moms are taking the healthier route than those who feel pressured by the industry to step right back into sizes they were before they grew a human being inside of them! Take the beautiful and witty Kristen Bell, for instance!

She’s a new mom, and here’s what she just said about the whole topic:

“I’m proud to sit out the baby weight rat race. I’m going to continue working out and see where it goes. I’d like to get back down to where I was before the baby. … But if this is where my body wants to be, so be it. I’m not going to make myself miserable for the rest of my life trying to get back to where I was before.”

She was about 15 pounds lighter before the baby than she is today, even though she gained 43 pounds during the pregnancy. Bodies are different for all types of women! Plus, she eats healthy and that will always be a big part of the battle!

Still, we’re so glad she isn’t breaking herself over getting back!

She continued:

├óΓé¼┼ôI like my Lincoln Leftovers because they├óΓé¼Γäóre proof I did something extraordinary. I gave life to my new BFF & she gave me a comical amount of midsection skin.”

LOLz!

Even Dax is being a stand-up guy about it all — even though it’s NOT his decision as to what she does with her weight:

“All he did was tell me he loved me chubby. He even asked me to stay chubby after the baby was born. I refused to worry about something I could not change, and I still refuse. Look, I’m like any other woman. All this evolved b.s. that I’m telling you is my mantra: It’s not something I practice naturally. I had to surrender to not worrying about the way I looked, how much I weighed, because that’s just part of the journey of having a baby. I am not a woman whose self-worth comes from her dress size.”

PREACH!

We hope that Kristen’s public outlook of her own weight and pregnancy will help and inspire other women to just be healthy, and not to fuss over nature! If your health is in check and you have the time to spare with a little one, by all means — go for it!

Just don’t over do it!
