Don’t cross Stephen Colbert!
The satirist extraordinaire had booked a rare TV performance by Daft Punk for his StePhest Colbchella music festival, but the band had to pull out at the last minute.
According to Stephen, the electronica duo aren’t allowed to perform anywhere other than MTV because they’re booked for a surprise performance at the VMAs!
Stephen got his revenge on Tuesday night’s Colbert Report by revealing MTV’s “deeply guarded secret” and bitterly naming names of network honchos that cost him his guest.
