M.I.A.‘s new album may be missing in action, but we found her next single!

The hip hop heroine got tired of waiting around for her label to release her new album MATANGI and decided to drop it herself, making good on the threat she tweeted earlier this month:

If interscope takes longer i can always leak this next week and make a new one by the time they are ready.

We’re guessing we’re going to be hearing more in the next few days, either from Interscope or from Mathangi herself. But until then, we’re going to hear samples of Blur and Carly Simon!
