All so sad…
The mother of a paparazzo that had followed Justin Bieber‘s Ferrari and been struck and killed by a car in January is alleging that his death was the responsibility of the California Highway Patrol.
Vickie Guerra, mother of the late photographer Chris Guerra, is suing the CHP and the State of California for unspecified damages, claiming that a police officer ordered Chris to unsafely cross a busy street.
As we reported earlier, Chris had been tailing Justin’s Ferrari, driven by Lil Twist at the time, when CHP pulled the pair over and wrote Lil Twist a ticket for speeding on the 405.
Then according to Vickie, a CHP officer saw Chris taking some photos and, allegedly using his gun, menacingly signaled the photographer to cross a busy street.
Sadly, Chris then got hit by one car, and run over by a second one.
In addition to this lawsuit, Vickie is also suing the driver that struck Chris.
If what Vickie claims is true, it makes this tragedy even more horrible. No parent should have to bury their child.
