The mask and cape could have very well gone to Joseph Gordon-Levitt but instead, the next Batman will be Ben Affleck!
We are STILL a bit surprised by last week’s announcement!
There was so much speculation as to who would play the part of The Dark Night, but probably at the top of the list of leading men was JGL!
After all, The Dark Knight Rises closes on him being surrounded by bats in what we assumed was a HUGE hint as to who would be the next master of Wayne Manor!
Even if he didn’t end up being cast as the caped crusader, Joseph is totally psyched to see Ben as Batman, despite all the Batffleck haters out there!
Joe stopped to talk to reporters at the VMAs this weekend and said about the upcoming Man of Steel sequel:
“Oh, but it’s gonna be good. I think it’s gonna be good.”
Alright, that’s one ticket sold! How many more do you think Mr. Affleck can bring in???
