If there’s one thing to take away from Sunday’s VMAs, it’s the uncanny parallels between Miley Cyrus‘ ass and Hank Hill‘s.
If there’s another thing we can take away, though, it’s that Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are even better besties than we imagined! Just LOOK at the two of them chatting, giggling, and cursing (above)!
At Monday’s opening for her upcoming thriller with Ethan Hawke, Getaway, Selena waxed poetical about how Tay-Tay is a positive influence in her life.
The Come & Get It singer admitted:
“It’s so good to have her around. She’s great!”
Awww! That’s so sweetly inspiring!
But WHY is T-Swizzle such a worthy member of the Spring Breakers star’s entourage?
Selena added:
├óΓé¼┼ôI have good people around me. I have a strong belief that you must surround yourself with good people… I have a very strong family and good friends. I just want to do things that people end up respecting me for.├óΓé¼┬¥
That’s a great point!
Not every starlet exited the VMAs with more public respect than they entered the award show with, but Selena’s stock definitely went up!!
And she thinks it’s because she adheres to a strict philosophy! Getting existential, she said:
├óΓé¼┼ôYou are who you surround yourself with, especially on tour.”
Uhhh, wait a minute. Is she calling Justin Bieber is a monkey? LOLz!!
