Like a captured TV soldier stonewalling his interrogators, Miguel wasn’t giving out anything other than his name, rank, and serial number species!!
Cameras finally caught up to the talented artist after last month’s DUI arrest, and you might be surprised by what he said!
Instead of clarification, he hit us with a mouthful of legalese!
Miguel revealed:
“I’m a human being just like the next person. There’s no real word that I’m guilty of that, and that’s all I have to say about it. The rest will be handled legally.”
Human, eh?
We’ve seen the man apologize before — you know, like the time he smashed a girls face in with his testicles — but it doesn’t look like he’s admitting any guilt in this one.
Does that mean the How Many Drinks? singer is maintaining his own innocence?!
Not necessarily! Miguel hadn’t yet been charged before that interview took place. Now that he has, perhaps he’ll sing a different tune!
For what it’s worth, the artist did acknowledge his role as a public figure. He offered:
“As far as the public part of it, it comes with the territory. We all exchange something for what we receive. There’s always a trade off and that’s just kind of the other edge of the sword.”
