Obamacare is about to be enacted and the government is considering shutting down in an act of defiance.
The problem is, even if you’re not a federal worker, this shutdown might affect your daily life!!
There are ten things though could possibly affect you:
1. Trash Pickup and Parking Enforcement
2. DMV
3. Daycare
4. Smithsonian Museums and the National Zoo
5. National Parks
6. Passport Services
7. Social Security and Medicare Payments
8. Public Libraries
9. Building Inspections and Permits
10. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
What we care most about is #4! If the museums shut down, that means that the National Zoo’s Panda cam will shut down!!
We won’t be able to watch the zoo’s five-week-old panda cub!!
Essential personnel will still be there to care for the animals but webcams aren’t deemed essential, so they’d cut the feeds.
We can’t survive without our panda cam!!
C’mon, U.S. Gov’t├óΓé¼┬ª let’s work it out!!
