Nelly thinks it’s getting Hot in Herre! Too hot, perhaps!!
At least so far as Miley Cyrus is concerned!
In a recent radio interview on IN:DEMAND with Alex James, the Country Grammar mega-rapper spoke in detail about his relationship with Ms. Cyrus and praised her work ethic.
Her Bangerz collaborator in fact believes the media has grown far too mean and critical of her innocuous behavior!
Nelly shockingly revealed:
“She can be 18 with an attitude
Or 19, kinda snotty, acting real rude
But as long as you a thicky-thicky-thick girl you know that it’s on.”
Wait, that’s not from the interview at all! Those are lyrics from his 14-year-old hit single Ride Wit Me!
Whoops!!
This is what Nelly actually said in the interview:
“Miley’s great, she’s a great talent. She’s young and ambitious and wants to do it her way. When you’re 20 years old and you’ve been under a machine your whole life and been told what to do, when you get to a certain age you’re like, ‘I want to do it my way’… Whatever mistakes she makes she’s gonna have to deal with them, she understands that… I always ask, ‘Who’s she hurting?’ She’s just doing it her way. We’ve had a lot of people doing it their way.”
He actually makes a totally valid point!!
MileyBird may smoke weed by the ounce and stick her tongue out more frequently than a dehydrated puppy dog, but who is she hurting really?
Robin Thicke certainly didn’t complain about any chaffing!
Nelly also implied MileyBird might have it harder than Madonna in some ways!
He said:
“Madonna, she did it her way, and she became one of the greatest female entertainers of all time. Madonna grew up in the age of no social media, she wasn’t under the type of scrutiny that Miley’s under. Yeah, Miley twerked on stage at 20, but Madonna kissed two girls on stage at 50! Come on man, leave her alone!”
We aren’t so sure a comparison to Her Madgesty is apt quite yet, but we get the rapper’s point!!
Come on, man! Leave her alone!
