We’ve been waiting for Eminem‘s new album since he announced it during the 2013 VMA!!
But don’t let the “2” on the LP confuse you because this is not a sequel of the first album he released 13 years ago!
Yes, can you believe?! It’s been that long since he released The Marshall Mathers LP!
The Real Slim Shady commented on the album, saying:
“[It’s] not necessarily a sequel. As much as it is a revisitation.
So there’s not gonna be, like, continuations of every old song on there or anything like that. To me, it’s more about the vibe and it’s more about the nostalgia.”
We definitely love nostalgia!
Em continued:
“Calling it The Marshall Mathers LP 2, obviously I knew that there might be certain expectations. I wouldn’t want to call it that just for the sake of calling it that. I had to make sure that I had the right songs ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ and just when you think you got it, you listen and you’re like, ‘Fuck, man! I feel like it needs this or that,’ to paint the whole picture.”
If it’s anything like his first one, it’ll be AMAZEBALLS!
With collaborations from artists like Rihanna, we’re pretty sure it’ll live up to the nostalgic standards you’re holding the album up to!
