Justin Bieber‘s art is officially criminal!
While in Brazil, the Biebs got his tag on (among other things), a serious act of vandalism there!
Well, police may not have been able to arrest Justin while he was there, but that didn’t mean the case was closed!
Seeing as how he provided plenty of evidence on his own Instagram, we’re not surprised police decided to charge him with “defacing a building or urban monument by graffiti or other means.”
Justin may have thought he was cleared to spray where he did, but according to the statement from Rio De Janeiro police, he painted outside the lines! The statement said:
“Authorization granted by the city did not extend to other locations.”
Apparently Justin was only authorized to paint on a designated graffiti wall in the Morro do Vidigal, but he decided to and tag a local hotel!
Well, unfortunately for the Biebs, ignorance of the law is not a legitimate defense! If he ever wants to return to Brazil, Justin may have to face some serious consequences, from a hefty fine up to a year in prison!
