Angelina Jolie was recognized for being a fantastic human being on Saturday night in El Lay at the Governors Awards. The actress was presented with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, which is given “to an individual in the motion picture industry whose humanitarian efforts have brought credit to the industry.├óΓé¼┬¥
That sounds just like her!
And don’t you love how the Swarovski crystals in her Atelier Versace gown shimmered as she walked the red carpet?!
While the philanthropist looked amazeballz, we can’t get enough of her dates Brad Pitt and their very grown up son Maddox! Angie even gave her son a shoutout when she accepted her award, saying:
“I’m not going to cry, I promise. I’m not going to embarrass you. You and your brothers and sisters are my happiness and there is no greater honor in this world than being your mom.”
How sweet of her! Of course Brad got some shine too, when his lady love said:
“My love [Brad Pitt]. Your support and your guidance make everything I do possible.├óΓé¼┬¥
These two are just SO supportive of each other! What a great example for their kids! This actress still had some more moving words to say:
“I will do as my mother asked and I will do the best I can with this life to be of use. And to stand here today means I did as she asked and if she were alive she’d be very proud, so thank you.”
Wow! It’s just amazing when a good person gets recognized for their efforts! Congrats!
