This is SO not okay!
Lorde and her rumored boyfriend, 24-year-old James Lowe, are being bullied on Twitter by One Direction fans! And a lot of these tweets are taking a swing at James’ race!
Just look at some of the hurtful hate messages she’s receiving:
“what the f–k is lorde and that chinese sort of ostrich boyfriend anyway.├óΓé¼┬¥
“damn lorde is a lucky girl i bet her boyfriend gives her free manicures and pedicures.├óΓé¼┬¥
“lorde’s boyfriend or PSY gone wrong you decide.├óΓé¼┬¥
“lorde’s boyfriend looks like the chinese exchange student from sixteen candles.├óΓé¼┬¥
Some of the insults being thrown at her are even too disgusting for us to mention! So why are Directioners going after the 17-year-old songstress??
Many are claiming that Lorde called the Brit boy band “ugly” and “overrated” recently! But we’ve NEVER heard any comments like that come out of her mouth! In fact, Lorde is a 1D fan! Check out the tweet she sent out while attending their concert back in October:
