Well this doesn’t exactly instill a lot of confidence!
President Obama signed up for Obamacare, which is a great move to show how confident he is in the program! The only problem is that he didn’t have to struggle for it like the rest of the nation — he didn’t use the error-prone website, and didn’t have to talk to a volunteer on the phone for hours to help him!
Som, how did he do it? He sent aides to the Washington, D.C. insurance exchange’s office, where they filed his papers in person ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ while he’s on VACATION IN HAWAII.
In fact, his officials said:
“His situation is unique. The president couldn’t have used the DC exchange’s website because the databases these sites use to confirm insurance eligibility wouldn’t contain those sorts of records about him.”
That doesn’t excuse doing it in an extremely painless, hands-off, from-Hawaii way!
Regardless, Obama chose “a bronze plan” ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ the cheapest option. The thing is, though, they can’t just let the President have just ANY health insurance, even if it is something he’s providing the nation. Apparently the plan he chose “is symbolic since the president├óΓé¼Γäós health care will continue to be provided by the military.”
So, in other words, not only did he NOT use the website, but instead sent aides to do it in person while he’s on a beach in Hawaii, but it doesn’t actually MEAN ANYTHING.
Why do it at all??
