Shia LaBeouf has officially announced his retirement from public life via his Twitter.
Uh-huh. You’ll forgive us if we don’t completely buy into this. Even accepting this with a grain of salt would be too generous.
Then again, who knows? This could be the result of the cease & desist letter he received because of how he plagiarized Daniel Clowes‘ comic, stole other people’s apologies, tried to apologize by hiring a skywriter, and is just overall being really odd.

Dude, reality check?
His “artistic integrity” is being attacked because he created a film that was WORD FOR WORD copied from someone else WITHOUT their permission.
It wasn’t even a reworking of a story, it was straight up plagiarism!
Shia needs to stop thinking that what he did was “right” and realize that stealing someone else’s work without crediting them is WRONG.
We’re seriously starting to think he did too many drugs while method acting or something.
Get it together, dude.
