Yes! Yes! Yes! This is such a win!
We love Ellie Goulding‘s music so much that when we heard she would be on the upcoming film Divergent‘s soundtrack we got super excited!
Except, Ellie’s revealed that she’s done MUUUUCH more than just one song!
Ellie revealed while on Good Morning America that she was actually SUPER involved with the film, which we suspected after her song was used in the first clip!!
She said:
“I have always wanted to do a film soundtrack, be really involved with a film. And not just provide songs, but also install my voice in the soundtrack as well. I’ve gotten to work with an orchestra and the musical director, and it’s been so much fun. I’m really excited. I basically got to go into the studio, and just be put in front of the microphone for a few hours and sing whatever I wanted to sing. Not even words, noises and sounds, too. I listened to a lot of Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard.”
This is awesome! We love that she’s branching out and trying new things!
The Burn singer also revealed that one of her songs on the soundtrack is titled Beating Heart!
Eeee!! We can’t wait to hear it!
Ellie also added:
├óΓé¼┼ôI├óΓé¼Γäóve seen [the movie] and it├óΓé¼Γäós awesome ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ obviously.”
