Matthew McConaughey won a well-deserved acting Oscar for his phenomenal work in Dallas Buyers Club, but there sadly weren’t enough statues for everyone!
Some folks got left out!! Like four-time Oscar nominee Leonardo DiCaprio — he came up short. Again.
Matt did hug his buddy and Wolf of Wall Street star on the way up to accept the award, but was it more salt in the wound?
What do you think those two said to each other? Were there words of encouragement? Vows for revenge? Some stuff about fugazi?
We really aren’t sure, but between this and freezing to death at the end of Titanic, Leo just has the worst luck!!!
He shouldn’t fret too much, though — he’ll always have that Berlin International Film Festival win from 1996 for your fine work in Romeo + Juliet!
Matt can never take that away from him!
