YES! YES! YESSSSS!!!
This is such a HUGE win!!!
The Boston Beer Company, ya know the ones who brew Sam Adams, have pulled OUT of the annual South Boston St. Patrick’s Day parade because the event has refused openly gay participants from marching in the parade!
SO rude!!
The Boston Beer Co. decided to revoke their support because they were called out by a Boston restaurant who vowed they wouldn’t serve its beer anymore, which prompted the courageous decision by the company!
They released a statement today that said:

“We have been participating in the South Boston St. Patrick├óΓé¼Γäós Day Parade for nearly a decade and have also supported the St. Patrick├óΓé¼Γäós Day breakfast year after year. We├óΓé¼Γäóve done so because of the rich history of the event and to support veterans who have done so much for this country.
We were hopeful that both sides of this issue would be able to come to an agreement that would allow everyone, regardless of orientation, to participate in the parade. But given the current status of the negotiations, we realize this may not be possible.
We share these sentiments with Mayor Walsh, Congressman Lynch and others and therefore we will not participate in this year├óΓé¼Γäós parade. We will continue to support Senator Linda Dorcena Forry and her St. Patrick├óΓé¼Γäós Day breakfast. We wish her all the best in her historic stewardship of this tradition.”

So AH-MAZING!!
It’s starting to feel like a good day for a nice cold Sam Adams beer to us!
We commend you, Boston Beer Company, for your outstanding decision!!
Keep being awesome!!!
