Talk about working together!
Last week, Paul Walker’s mom, Cheryl Walker, was ready to do legal battle to become her 15-year-old granddaughter Meadow’s legal guardian.
But Meadow’s mom, Rebecca Soteros, wants her daughter with her!
So, after confronting each other last week, Cheryl said she’ll drop the guardianship bid IF, and only if, Rebecca successfully completes rehab. She’s already had two DUIs and, reportedly, the drinking is what made Meadow leave Hawaii to be with Paul in the first place.
Thankfully, Rebecca agreed and began detoxing on Friday; she’ll check herself into rehab after that is completed.
Sometimes people just need that little extra push to help become their best selves.
As for Meadow, we’re sure she just can’t wait for this to all be over. No child should have to deal with this stuff.
