From arch-enemies to Bucket List bros! And it only took a few decades, LOLz!!
Since David Letterman announced his retirement last week many of his colleagues have praised him with affection. Until now, however, we hadn’t heard a peep out of his former nemesis Jay Leno!
The two men were at each other’s throats in the early ’90s, but times have changed! They’ve grown older and now, well, they’re basically bestiez, LOLz!!
Cameras caught up with Jay, the retired Tonight Show host, after one of his comedy shows recently and he was quick to speak out about Mr. Letterman’s upcoming transition.
He offered:
├óΓé¼┼ôOh well you know, he and I gonna do The Sunshine Boys on Broadway, so we├óΓé¼Γäóre very excited about that.”
Ha! HIGHlarious!
So, who does he think should take over the Late Show hosting duties, if anyone? Chelsea Handler, perhaps?
Jay continued:
“I don├óΓé¼Γäót know, a lot of good people out there├óΓé¼┬ª there├óΓé¼Γäós nothing to fill in.├óΓé¼┬¥
Aww! We hope these guys become BFFs in retirement!
