Seriously, let’s be real for a second, Chloe Grac├â┬½ Moretz is on FIRE!
She’s got a super successful Broadway show, The Library, her upcoming film If I Stay JUST released a brilliant trailer, and now she’s announced that she’s got ANOTHER movie in the works!
Busy, busy girl! We LOVE it!!!
Chloë took to Twitter to let the world know that she would be playing the lead in the film version of the novelThe 5th Wave.
The storyline centers around 16-year-old Cassie who has survived four waves of alien invasions that have basically desecrated the Earth.
While she awaits the even more deadly fifth wave of alien attacks, she goes on a journey to find and save her little brother and she meets a boy along the way who may or may not be able to help her.
Sounds super intense!
She tweeted the news:
Thirdly, it is my biggest pleasure to finally announce that I am apart of #the5thwave!! Cannot wait to go on this journey.

The book, written by Richard Yancy, has gotten favorable reviews and has even been compared to The Hunger Games!
So, it sounds like Chlo├â┬½’s character Cassie could be the next Katniss except she’s battling aliens, not other kids!
We can’t WAIT to hear more about the film and who else will be starring alongside Chloe!
Congrats, gurlfriend! You deserve it!
