Johnny Depp Will NOT Be Testifying To Prove That This Woman Is Insane! Maybe Because It Was Insane That He Was Asked At All?

Johnny Depp has been spared from appearing in court to attest to Nancy Lekon‘s insanity claim!
The actor was served a subpoena at his Transcendence premiere to testify on behalf of Nancy to prove that she’s insane.
What a weird thing to ask someone to do, right?
Back in 2009, the woman in question was arrested for allegedly running down a woman and dragging her for a mile, ultimately killing the victim with the limo she was driving that night.
Although Nancy’s attorney thought Johnny’s testimony would help his client’s case, the prosecution and defense are both agreeing that Johnny has NO connection to her and is not involved in the case.
Well, duh!
We’re also pretty sure Johnny was still married to Vanessa Paradis when this all went down.
Maybe the fact that Nancy thought Johnny would come to her aide in this crazy case could help her insanity plea!
