We couldn’t believe when we heard Paul Simon and his wife were arrested over the weekend after a domestic dispute.
And now we’re finally getting some details about what went down between the two.
Paul’s wife, Edie Brickell, has released a statement through her lawyer Allen Cramer explaining a bit about what happened to lead to these shocking arrests:
“I got my feelings hurt and picked a fight with my husband. The police called it disorderly. Thank God it├óΓé¼Γäós orderly now.”
But from what we’re hearing it got QUITE disorderly AND dangerous as New Canaan, Connecticut police have reported that there were “minor injuries” after there was “aggressiveness on both sides.”
After Paul called the police, there seemed to be some resolve:
“One party agreed to leave voluntarily and go to another location. Frankly, they were both victims.”
We sure hope things are now orderly like Edie is claiming.
And we hope this doesn’t happen again.
