Oooo, this looks GOOD!
Taylor Swift just dropped a preview for her new Patient Zero music video, but honestly, the way it’s shot — and who it’s starring — it’s giving MOVIE TRAILER! So cinematic!
Taylor got Colin Farrell and her friend Dakota Johnson to star in the visual, and from the looks of it, we’re in for a deep, dark story.

We see Taylor and Dakota at a cemetery, Dakota and Colin in a wealth living room while Taylor walks through (is she a ghost?), a highly stylized swimming shot, Taylor looking forlorn over a sink…
Some Swifties think it might be a tribute to the the classic Daphne du Maurier novel, Rebecca. Taylor and Dakota’s characters do seem to be wearing the same outfits in each scene they’re in, and we see Taylor interacting with Dakota but not the other way around. So, yeah, wouldn’t be surprised if she was a ghost!

AND we do know Tay is a fan of the gothic novel and those dark, moody vibes in general. She even told Stephen Colbert she loves books about ghosts and mansions last December:
“So if you’ve got an old, like, rambling, shambles old British mansion covered in moss or ivy and there’s like a mysterious relationship, and he may not be what he seems. And there’s like a murder that has happened in the past, but you hear whispers of it. There’s the idea of a ghost or an actual ghost.”
