Kim Kardashian's Last Minute Met Gala Switcheroo Finally Explained! Was It All Kanye?? Find Out HERE!

Kim Kardashian was the talk of the town at the Met Gala!
Her stunning Lanvin dress made quite the impression Monday night — on and off the red carpet.
Though we noticed that she made a couple small accessory changes between leaving the Lanvin store and her actual arrival at the event, but never thought we’d hear why.
But because Kim can read our minds — or just because her fans kept asking — she recently took to explaining it all on her blog!
She revealed:

“I was in love with my Lanvin strapless dress. Alber Elbaz helped Kanye and I get ready for the evening, which was a perfect fit because he also dressed us for the cover of Vogue. It was such a tough decision on how to accessorize. I left the store with a chunky belt and leather cuffs. We were going back and forth for hours if the chunky belt was right. In the car on our way there we got a glimpse of the carpet, and I decided the accessories were a bit too “rock n├óΓé¼Γäó roll” and I wanted to go for something more simple and elegant.”

We couldn’t agree more!! Those accessories would have fit in flawlessly had it been last year’s punk theme, but for such a classic night, less really is more.
Kim continued:

“I switched to a clean black satin belt and strappy heels at the last minute because to me it felt more classic and fit the Forties theme better. Kanye also liked it better too. Overall I thought it was the right decision and I loved the way everything came together.”

Love!! Of course we wouldn’t have minded seeing her in a ball gown, too!
