Tori Spelling hasn’t been having the easiest 2014.
She’s been an emotional wreck because of the philandering father of her children, hubby Dean McDermott.
Now, to add insult to injury, her own mother, Candy Spelling, has released a tell all book. And it doesn’t paint Tori in the best light.
The book is called Candy At Last and she comes down hard on her daughter in it, writing:
“I also believe that there comes a time when you have to stop blaming your parents. Take responsibility for your own actions and attitudes. I see now that in my quest to be the perfect mother and create the picture-perfect life for my children, I was too focused on the bigger picture and not enough on the smaller brush strokes. I feel badly that my children felt I wasn├óΓé¼Γäót affectionate enough. I thought I was. I see now that it would have been beneficial for the children to have had responsibilities around the house. We really should have taught the kids to do more for themselves.”
So basically… she feels bad for raising what she thinks are rich, spoiled kids?
Things haven’t been easy between her and her daughter for years, with Candy saying:
“We have a pattern, and until we can break it hand in hand, this is going to be the little dance she and I do together.”
At least it seems like they’re trying to reconcile.
We’re sure writing a tell all memoir can’t help, but at least they’re trying.
