Sounds like Marvel and Ben Affleck are never ever getting back together!
The 41-year-old actor recently defected for DC Comics, but you probably remember that before he stepped into his vein-covered bat-suit he once infamously portrayed a different superhero. He was Marvel’s blind, billy club-wielding vigilante who fights evil foes with sonar — Daredevil.
According to reports so fresh you’d swear your grand-momma baked them, however, Marvel has finally filled the hole in their roster. The studio just cast TV veteran Charlie Cox to play the titular lead in a 13-episode Daredevil series they’re shooting for Netflix!
Wow! From a Boardwalk Empire thug who was killed in a bathhouse to a crime-fighting superhero with his very own TV show? That’s quite a promotion for the handsome 31-year-old!
But the gig comes with its share of pressures, too!
Ben Affleck, Colin Farrell, & Jennifer Garner‘s feature film flopped harder than a beached-whale on speed!
Is Daredevil already doomed?!
