We still can’t believe that one of the brightest literary legends of this day, Maya Angelou, has passed away at the age of 86.
She was so inspiring to just about everyone she encountered.
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are no exception!
The couple has released an official statement through the White House about her passing and it’s a truly amazing tribute to a remarkable woman.
The statement said:
Ugh! We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
The world has lost a true icon today. May she rest in peace.
