Oh, Gwyneth Paltrow…maybe there’s a medical procedure that can surgically remove the foot from your mouth!
While speaking at the Re/Code conference, which by the way began the day after Memorial Day, Gwyneth compared getting trolled on the internet to returning from the horrors of war:
├óΓé¼┼ôYou come across [Internet comments] about yourself and about your friends, and it’s a very dehumanizing thing. It’s almost like how, in war, you go through this bloody, dehumanizing thing, and then something is defined out of it. My hope is, as we get out of it, we’ll reach the next level of conscience.├óΓé¼┬¥
Yeah, somehow we don’t think reading negative internet comments about yourself is anything like dodging actual bullets and bombs. Just a wild guess.
Meanwhile, Cindy McCain, wife of John McCain, responded best to all this nonsense with the following tweets:

Maybe this will give Gwyneth a little perspective before, we don’t know, she compares eating healthy to being in Seal Team 6 or something.
