Yesterday was a very sad day for U.S. soccer fans as the boys in red, white, and blue fell to Belgium 2-1 and were eliminated from the 2014 FIFA World Cup!
However, despite the heartbreaking loss, one of the biggest talking points of the game was Tim Howard‘s record breaking performance as the American goalie blocked an astounding 16 shots!
In fact, people quickly began to wonder if there was anything he COULDN’T save (aside from the 2 goals Belgium scored, of course)! The internet responded fabulously, with the hashtag #ThingsTimHowardCouldSave!
For example, things might have ended differently for Mufasa and Ned Stark if Tim was around! And Janet Jackson‘s infamous Super Bowl nip-slip? Never happened!
