Oh wait. No it’s not.
Columbus Short has been arrested for the fourth time in four months, and it happened on the Fourth of July!!!
The dispatched former Scandal star was at the Katy Trail Ice House in Dallas, Texas getting his drank on, and apparently started off a bit of a scuffle when he tried to exit the place WITHOUT paying for his tab!
A security guard at the front had a few choice words with the actor, and we guess he incensed Mr. Short a lot because the actor soon accused the African-American security guard of racism!
Not surprisingly, after that accusation was thrown out a scuffle soon ensued. At that point a few off-duty Dallas policeman broke up the fight, but Columbus Short still wasn’t done!
He tried to attack a few of the cops, and apparently just would not cool down.
One witness described Mr. Short like this. They said:
“He was like a dog with a bone who wouldn’t let it go.”
The cops soon tired of Mr. Short’s actions, and hauled him off to jail where he was booked for public intoxication.
We honestly hope Columbus Short is able to somehow find a way to control his anger – either through therapy or other means – and find a way to bring a bit of peace into his life.
This type of behavior is definitely becoming a pattern for the fired Scandal star!
