This Has To Be The Easiest Way To Invoke Kate Middleton's Style

Okay, maybe she hasn’t worn a striped shirt a million times, but a lot!
In fact, if Kate Middleton‘s castle was burning down and she only had time to grab one article of clothing, we have a feeling she’d pick a striped cotton top.
We were just doing the usual, perusing the massive amounts of royals photos, when we realized she’s worn a variation of it at least a half dozen times at both public engagements and while just doing something totally plebeian like grocery shopping. If there was ever a multi-purpose garment for a royal, it’s this one!
So because we’re awesome (and also because things have been kinda quiet on the royal front lately and we know you need your fix), we thought we’d make a compilation.
Let’s take a look at all the times she’s worn the stripes …AFTER THE JUMP!!!

1. The Duchess famously played volleyball at the Olympic Park in 2013 wearing a striped top only a few months after giving birth to Prince George!

2. The style was also ideal for grocery shopping, as Kate demonstrated at the royal couple’s home in Anglesey.

3. Kate wore a slightly different version of the striped shirt — with thicker stripes and a scoop neck — while watching the equestrian event at the Olympics in 2012.

4. The top also came in handy when she raced Prince William on a yacht during a trip to New Zealand. Maybe it’s her lucky top, because she totally won!

5. Most recently, the Duchess wore them while watching Prince William play polo with Prince George in tow. Think of all the times Georgie’s drooled or puked all over it! Ha!
That settles it; there’s really no easier way to mimic Kate’s style than by buying your own blue and white striped, long-sleeve top!
