Brooks Wheelan, we hardly knew ye!
SNL may start with a cold open, but it just gave the cold goodbye to Brooks after only his first season!
Brooks broke the news to his Twitter followers in a pretty HIGHlarious way to show that he wasn’t too badly broken up about it:

In addition to this tweet, a source close to the show confirmed that Brooks had been let go!
Brooks is the first to go, but are there more castmembers to follow? Time will tell who makes the cut for next season!
