Not only do condoms work well to prevent the spread of STDs, they also make fabulous fabric!!
No one knows this better than Adriana Bertini, an artist who designs incredible outfits made entirely up of condoms. She even puts on runways to showcase her marvelous creations — how cool is that, right???
She started her project — aptly titled “Condom Couture” — in an effort to raise awareness about safe sex. She gets people talking about condoms, touching them, and working with them in new and creative ways.
Adriana also encourages people to create condom art of their own, and even holds condom art workshops in which people can dye and tie condoms together to make intricate designs!
Way to combat the spread of STIs and HIV/AIDS in an extremely creative, beautiful way!!
