Over the past few weeks, we’ve all seen tons of celebs and friends alike participate in the Ice Bucket Challenge to help raise awareness and money for an ALS cure!
But even though the successful viral campaign has raised MILLIONS of dollars and is for a great cause, some people have had the audacity to complain about the videos flooding their Facebook feeds.
Well 26-year-old Anthony Carbajal decided to take the challenge himself and had a little bit of fun with it by having a super sexy slo-mo car wash before getting doused with some chilly H2O!
But after the music stops, he decided to get real and address some of the skeptics out there by revealing ALS actually runs in his family and that he too has been diagnosed. Not only does Anthony take care of his mother, but he says he is already starting to lose feeling in his hands.
He goes on to say how promising it is to see people FINALLY talking about this horrible disease, and he asks some of the skeptics out there to just be patient, saying:
“I promise, your news feed will go back to cat videos and Let It Go covers. But right now, the ALS community has the main spotlight.”
We couldn’t agree more!
So before you start ranting about how “useless” it is for people to dump water on their heads, remember all of the good this campaign is doing and all of those affected by ALS. Besides, you’re Facebook feed will be back to normal in no time!
Watch the video (below) and skip to the 2:00 mark to hear Anthony’s touching message.
