Joan Rivers continues to recover from her medical emergency, and while she rests and hopefully gets better, officials are handling the other side of things.
Since she suffered respiratory and cardiac arrest at the clinic where she was receiving throat surgery, New York Health officials have a few questions.
The Department of Health has contacted the clinic, Yorkville Endoscopy, as they are currently reviewing the matter that occurred last week.
An official investigation has not been launched yet, but the clinic has been contacted twice. This review could reportedly take a few weeks or months. It is mostly being focused on the clinic and not just the people working on Joan.
We just hope no one else has to experience what Joan and her loved ones are going through.
