Starbucks Has Been Trying To Trick Your Taste Buds Into Thinking This Latte Tastes Like Beer

This new coffee concoction might not be your cup of tea.
That’s because Starbucks as been trying to combine its love of espresso and alcohol to make a beer flavored latte.
As you probably know, you can already buy beer and wine at some Starbucks locations, and now the coffee company is upping the ante by adding the new Dark Barrel Latte to its menu.
But don’t be fooled.
The drink doesn’t contain any actual beer, and is actually designed to taste mostly like a chocolatey malt.
The beverage features espresso, dark caramel, chocolate, and roasted malt flavorings to give the essence of your favorite pint.
As long as the drink tastes more like a richer macchiato and less like a hoppy brew, we could be convinced to give it a try!
But in the mean time, we’re just gonna stick to our Pumpkin Spice Latte.
First the new express stores and upscale cafes, and now beer-flavored lattes?
