
Aww, consider our hearts officially melted!!
Melissa Andrade, a high school student with cerebal palsy, won homecoming queen after an aggressive campaign to bring awareness to wheelchair-bound kids everywhere.
Melissa, who was asked to homecoming by a member of the football team, was OVERJOYED when she was crowned queen.
Andrade gushed:
“I’m so happy. I can’t thank everyone enough.”

Considering that Melissa is the first special needs student to ever be crowned homecoming queen at Ontario High School, this is a MAJOR achievement and incredible moment for special needs students everywhere!
