Looks like he’s back to being available.
The Dallas Cowboys signed defensive end Michael Sam to their 10-man practice squad on September 3rd, but they just decided to waive him. Michael is the first openly gay player in the NFL, and it’s a shame he hasn’t been able to find an official home yet!

Being the classy guy he is, Sam took to Twitter to thank the team and explain what his next step is, saying:
I want to thank the Jones family and the entire Cowboys organization for this opportunity, as well as my friends, family, teammates, (1/3)

Sam has always been a fighter — and at 24-years-old, we’re sure he’ll end up right where he wants!
