Here’s a little something to help you get over the Hump this week!
Mario Testino has generously shared two beautiful behind-the-scenes shots of Angelina Jolie from her recent Vanity Fair cover for the December issue.
One of the pictures (in the gallery above) is a simple black-and-white of Angie laughing, with Mario’s caption:
“WITH THE AMAZING ANGELINA. SHE ALWAYS SURPRISES ME WITH WHAT SHE IS DOING. ACTING, DIRECTING, RAISING CHILDREN, BEING A WIFE, ETC, ETC! AND ALWAYS LOOKING GREAT AND GIVING GREAT ENERGY.”
Meanwhile, the second is a photo of Mario shooting Miz Jolie superimposed over an image of a pool.
Very artsy-fartsy!
The actress’ big, soulful eyes are the focal point of the second pic — but we also noticed her white Gucci gown with the silver tubing along the neckline. This time, we get a frontal view of it!

But what these BTS shots really prove is that the VF editors had way more pictures at their disposal…
They only put a few in the actual magazine — and that’s a crying shame!
