On Friday, Prince William knighted the venerable three-time Oscar-winning actor at Buckingham Palace!
We hope Daniel didn’t get too into the character of a knight — challenging people to duels and all. LOLz!
In response to his knighting, the movie star was pretty humbled by the honor:
“I’m entirely amazed and utterly delighted in equal measure.”
We agree that his services to acting deserve some royal recognition!
In addition, we’re also glad that he bent his right knee… we know for sure his left foot is super strong!
