Missing Child Was Found Behind A 'False Wall' & Reunited With His Mother After Four Long Years!

We’re just glad he’s safe now!
A young child who was reported missing four years ago has recently been reunited with his mother!
And it was the boy himself who saw to it that he was discovered!
The 13-year-old boy was hidden behind a “false wall” in the suburban Atlanta home in Clayton County that he was staying in with his father – the person who prompted the mother to originally report her son as missing since it was the father who refused to bring the child home after a visit in 2010.
This past Friday the boy had used a smartphone to contact his sister who told her mother who called the Clayton County Police Department. The police’s initial search did not garner any results.
As Clayton County police Sgt. Kevin Hughes revealed:

“Upon initial arrival, responding officers made contact with several occupants at the location who denied having knowledge of any information concerning the victim. After a brief search of the premises, the officers left without locating the victim.”

But when the child used the smartphone to contact his sister and mother again – the cops made a more thorough search and even were passed on information from the child himself!
Kevin Hughes said:

“While at the location during the second call, the victim was able to establish phone contact with his mother and she in turn passed on additional information to the officers on the scene. The victim was found behind a false wall within the residence.”

This time they discovered the child behind the “false wall” and rescued the boy while also arresting the boy’s father, his stepmother and three other persons apparently living at the house. They were charged with obstruction, false imprisonment and cruelty to children.
However the child is not believed to have been behind the “false wall” entirely during that four years as one neighbor revealed that they saw the child “frequently outside the house, mostly doing yard work but sometimes playing.”
We bet the lil’ guy is happy to be away from that “false wall” and yard work and back with his mother!
The two were reunited on Saturday, and we’re pretty sure it’s safe to say at least this story has a happy ending!
