,%20which%20a%20lot%20of%20fans%20have%20been%20making%20noise%20about%20online,%20was%20from%20a%20photoshoot%20for%20a%20fragrance%20brand%20I%20have%20been%20working%20with%20for%20a%20while.%20The%20point%20of%20the%20shoot%20is%20to%20make%20the%20promotional%20image%20reflective%20of%20the%20packaging,%20as%20I%20have%20done%20on%20previous%20collaborations%20with%20them.%20This%20particular%20scent%20is%20a%20summer%20scent,%20with%20lemons%20and%20hints%20of%20burnt%20orange,%20the%20design%20is%20tropical,%20bright%20yellow%20with%20pineapples,%20palm%20trees%20and%20sunglasses%20printed%20on%20the%20can.%20The%20whole%20brief%20for%20the%20campaign%20was%20based%20around%20a%20tropical%20theme,%20which%20is%20what%20the%20brand%20aka%20the%20client,%20wanted.%20Hence%20the%20direction%20of%20the%20photoshoot.%20I%20had%20not%20seen%20the%20artwork%20for%20the%20Marina%20And%20The%20Diamonds%20(@marinagrams)%20song%20Immortal,%20and%20it%20was%20not%20an%20inspiration%20for%20this%20photoshoot%20or%20the%20campaign%20as%20a%20whole.%20I've%20seen%20it%20now,%20and%20yeah%20unfortunately%20it%20looks%20similar.%20It%20was%20shot%20by%20the%20same,%20incredibly%20talented%20photographer,%20and%20it's%20a%20shame%20for%20both%20myself%20and%20Marina%20that%20this%20has%20happened.%20I'm%20not%20here%20to%20replicate%20or%20steal%20art%20or%20things%20that%20have%20already%20been%20done.%20What's%20the%20point%20in%20that?%20I'm%20here%20to%20do%20my%20own%20thing%20and%20create%20my%20own%20art.%20As%20I've%20said,%20the%20image%20in%20question,%20which%20I%20believe%20Marina%20had%20previously%20commented%20on%20on%20the%20photographers%20Instagram,%20was%20for%20a%20brand%20based%20photoshoot%20for%20a%20tropical,%20lemon%20scented%20fragrance%20campaign%20(what%20was%20I%20supposed%20to%20do%20-%20shoot%20it%20in%20the%20snow/hqdefault.jpg)
Wow. We’ve got no words for this one.
Just kidding we’ve got a lot of ’em and they’re all along the lines of gorgeous, serene, beautiful, soulful, and so on and so forth.
Marina and the Diamonds has dropped a brand new new music video for her song Happy (she’s actually in it this time!) and it’s safe to say we’re pretty freakin’ obsessed with it.
