It’s about time this happened!
After years of munching cookies, Sesame Street‘s Cookie Monster is finally getting his own show!
The furry blue man will star in a one-hour PBS spotlight show, called The Cookie Thief. The premise is that valuable works of art, like the Muncha Lisa and the Girl With the Cookie Earring are stolen, and they think Cookie Monster did it!

Can you blame them?! LOLz!
And as always with Sesame Street, there’s a lesson to be learned. In this case, it’s managing our emotions, self-control, and following directions.
The one-hour PBS special will air on February 16, and will feature special guest Rachel Dratch, of Saturday Night Live fame!
We can already hear the big laughs!
