Celeb manicurist, Tom Bachik, joins CocoPerez.com again for an EXCLUSIVE tutorial on how to get yours perfectly glitzy and glammed out, just like he’s done with Jennifer Lopez!

Yep, the stunning songstress is one of Tom’s many A-list clients — and she happens to be a fan of the crystal-studded, flip-side trend, which he demonstrates (above)!
Follow his easy step-by-step GIF guide and you’ll have no trouble recreating this mani yourself!
Step 1. Start by adding two coats of your nail color of choice, letting it dry in between applications. Here, Tom used a rose gold color, similar to the one he used on J.Lo herself!

Step 2. Take a gel eyeliner brush or lip brush and dip it in nail polish remover to clean up the edges of your nails.

Step 3. Using a sparkling top coat, paint a single layer to create a cool textured look. Pssst. This is also super useful if your mani chips a few days in. Covering it in a tinted top coat makes it look purposeful!

Step 4. Once the coat is dry, pick your sparkle of choice! From Swarovski crystals to rhinestones and studs, the options are pretty endless. Next, grab a gel adhesive (double check it’s not a nail glue) to hold the stone in place. Then apply a drop underneath the tip of each nail.

Step 5. While Tom has his own crystal katana to pick up each separate stud for easy application, it’s not necessary. Gently grab a stone and place it on top of the gel adhesive. Depending on the length of your nail, use a stone big enough to cover the entire flip-side. Or create a fun design with varying sizes!

Step 6. Let it dry for two minutes…
