It’s a good day for comic book movie fans!
This morning, Marvel released an image of The Vision from next month’s highly anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron sequel.
Later fanboys and fangirls were also treated to first looks of characters from two of their other popular franchises: The Fantastic Four and X-Men! First up, The Thing aka Ben Grimm.
Jamie Bell is portraying the stone-skinned pilot in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. He doesn’t look too different from The Thing from previous films, perhaps a little less orange and little more serious-looking.
We’re even more excited about Angel from X-Men: Apocalypse.
The winged mutant is transformed into Archangel — one of the villainous Apocalypse’s Four Horsemen. Director Bryan Singer tweeted, “Ben Hardy is Angel ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ I shall confirm it for you! But he’s not a very nice Angel! And that’s all I’ll say├óΓé¼┬ª”
There have been two previous incarnations of Angel in X-Men films: Ben Foster played a feather-winged mutant in X-Men: The Last Stand, while Zoe Kravitz portrayed a female, fly-winged version in X-Men: First Class.
