After dazzling us with a tiara at her first state dinner at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, Kate Middleton turned heads at another royal engagement welcoming Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan.

This time the Duchess was no less enchanting in a burgundy lace Dolce & Gabbana dress worn with matching suede pumps.
Alas, her jewels were all put back in whatever safe the Queen keeps them in — but we guess it wouldn’t be as exciting if we saw them all the time!
Oh, yeah and Prince William was there as Kate’s personal umbrella valet.
