The Sherlock actor was awarded a CBE at the Investiture Ceremony by Queen Elizabeth II herself at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.

The 39-year-old made sure he was appropriately dressed in a very formal suit, while Sophie seemed to channel Kate Middleton in a periwinkle lace dress and chic fascinator.
It doesn’t look like their baby boy was there, but we’re sure he was beaming with pride back home. You know, as they do. Ha!
